government army officer.He was a man that

north. He was also was a man who fought southern troops
for 22 years.

people liberation movement. They also was a group that

liberation army. They fought one of Africa's longest-running war.

1. What events led to the out break of war
in the DR Congo?
The main event that led the war was the two
groups that was fighting and went over to Congo.
The two groups was called the Hut us and Tutsi.
2. How many have died in this war? Over what time frame has the deaths taken place? What countries and ethnic groups are involved?
The number of people that died was 5 million.
The time frame was for two years.It was from
1994 to 1996.The ethic groups was hutus and
the Tutsi.The countries that was involved was
Rwanda and Zaire.
3. What do you think can happen to stop the war/genocide in Congo?
I do not think it will never stop.I do not think it will ever stop
because they fight all the time and I do not think they will
get along.

1. What factors led the genocide in Rwanda in 1994?
A factor that led the genocide, is when the plane got
shot down on April 6,1994. Another factor that led the genocide
is the french judge blaming Rwanda's current president Paul Kaja me
for shooting the plane down.Which is causing African people to
go against Paul Kajame.
2.What was the time frame of the 1994 genocide and how many people died?
The number of people that died in the 1994 genocide was 800,000 people.
The time frame was April 6 to June. The time frame was for 3 months. The time frame was
from April to June.
3.What was the after effects on the genocide?
The after effects on the genocide was people was dying and people was
sad. Another effect was kids dying.An a effect is a lot of refugees.
